ANNA BALTZER

Anna Baltzer is a Jewish American Columbia graduate, Fulbright scholar, and the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors. She is a three-time volunteer with the International Women’s Peace Service, where she documented human rights abuses in the West Bank and supported the nonviolent movement against the Occupation. She has spent most of the past few years in Palestine or on tour with her book, Witness in Palestine: A Jewish American Woman in the Occupied Territories.

In 2003, Anna Baltzer visited the West Bank to discover the realities for Palestinians under the Occupation. She lived and worked with farmers, Palestinian and Israeli activists, and the families of political prisoners, traveling with them across endless checkpoints and roadblocks to reach hospitals, universities, and olive groves. Baltzer witnessed first-hand the devastation brought on by expanding settlements, and the destruction wrought by Israel’s “Security Fence.” Through an insider’s extensive interviews and documentation, Witness in Palestine reveals the truth about Israeli atrocities.

not a question to be dealt with by rational, humane discussions anymore! The Israeli government can
not be trusted! They take full advantage of the American “good will” WHILE pursuing their
nefarious scheme to take over all of Palestine by stealing land, destroying Palestinian property,
and de-humanizing the people to whom this land really belongs.

You have achieved great things and now Israel stands as a Vital Society in the Middle East – as well as a Military Power !

You can now create for Israel a reputation for Generosity and Humanity! You can allow the
Jewish People to “Shine Forth” as a model society devoted to Justice and Humanity and
the Equality of all Human Beings. The time has come for Justice and Liberty
and Freedom!
