Middle East Folder
In 2002 the National Geographic Society published a wonderful map on the Middle East – featuring Iraq. The map was focused on “The Middle East: Crossroads of Faith and Conflict.” The map features a detailed paragraph on political leaders, population, religion, and various other important facts in 2002. While the map has remained the same, much has changed politically in the Middle East in the past five years – particularly the Iraq war, but also including new leaders in Palestine, Israel, Iran, Kuwait, and, of course, Iraq.
In August 2007 Goals for Americans Foundation updated all of the pertinent information in a folder (see PDF) and sent it to all members of Congress at their home offices. We also sent it to the President, his staff, his Cabinet, foreign heads of state, important people in the Pentagon and State Department, Governors, pertinent diplomats in the UN, Washington, DC, and abroad, Middle East professors, and many other important people.
Soon we will publish Goal for Americans Foundation’s plan and solution for the Iraq war. Until then, this publication will provide important historical and current facts and figures on the Middle East.
